The Clinical Mentor provides real-time, AI-powered guidance during consultations — designed to support early-career clinicians and new graduates.
How It Works
When enabled, the Clinical Mentor listens to the consultation alongside the recorder and provides:
- Suggested questions — prompts based on the clinical context
- Assessment reminders — relevant outcome measures to consider
- Clinical flags — gentle alerts when important topics haven't been covered
- Evidence-based suggestions — links to guidelines relevant to the presentation

The Clinical Mentor is a support tool — it never overrides clinical judgement. All suggestions are optional and clinician-led.
Enabling Clinical Mentor
- Go to your profile Settings → Consultation Preferences
- Toggle Clinical Mentor to on
- Choose your experience level (graduate, early-career, experienced)
- The mentor adapts its suggestions based on your selected level
Supervision Integration
For clinics with supervision workflows:
- Supervisors can review the mentor's suggestions alongside the session notes
- This provides insight into the clinician's decision-making process
- Mentored sessions are tagged for easy filtering in the supervisor's review queue
Privacy
Clinical Mentor suggestions are generated in real-time and not stored permanently. Only the final approved clinical notes are saved to the patient record.
