Connecting Cliniko

Quicka Health integrates with Cliniko to sync patient data, appointments, and clinical notes between the two systems.

Prerequisites

  • An active Cliniko account with API access enabled
  • Admin access to your Quicka Health clinic

Setup Steps

1. Generate a Cliniko API Key

  1. In Cliniko, go to SettingsIntegrationsAPI Keys
  2. Click Generate New API Key
  3. Give it a descriptive name (e.g., "Quicka Health Integration")
  4. Copy the API key — you'll need it in the next step

2. Connect in Quicka Health

  1. Go to Clinic SettingsIntegrations
  2. Click Connect next to Cliniko
  3. Paste your API key
  4. Click Verify & Connect

Quicka Health will verify the connection and import your patient list.

💡

The initial patient sync may take a few minutes depending on the size of your patient database. You'll see a progress indicator.

Troubleshooting

  • "Invalid API key" — regenerate the key in Cliniko and try again
  • Patients not appearing — check that the API key has read permissions
  • Notes not syncing — ensure the Cliniko account has write permissions
